Aya Renewal Healing Group Therapy is aimed at global majority communities to provide a helpful space to reflect & understand coping strategies that have or are affecting you in your day-to-day life, providing you with an opportunity to learn how to renew your healing toolkit within a community of like minded individuals.
The term Global majority includes persons that identify as Black, African, Asian, Brown or mixed heritage; persons indigenous to the global south &/or those that have been racialised as 'ethnic minorities'.
The constant push for resilience has pushed many to their knees & led to more exhaustion and depleted inner resources. Historical & intergenerational suffering has been shouldered by many, with little time to be addressed & processed; this accumulates & impacts mental health, hearts & spirits.
If so, our group therapy program is the space for you.
We provide a humanising space to:

The 4 psycho-educational areas will be on:

We will therefore explore the 4 psycho-educational topic areas to raise awareness & support with deeper understanding of social dynamics and how they might show up within the group therapy process.
Following this, the 8 weeks of group therapy will be an open space to
