Afrikan-Centred Intercultural Therapy™ (ACIT) is:
- An integration of Afrikan-centred principles, philosophy & humility focused thinking with various psychological schools of thought through a trauma informed lens.
- A personal & professional developmental skill, aimed to influence & adapt cultural-ethnic-racial mentalities & develop trauma informed cultural empathy, for healing, resilience & post traumatic growth.
We believe that the way one identifies self, communicates with others & contributes towards community engagement enhances the process of mentality shifts & generational change.
ACIT core principles aim to enhance cultural competencies across the spectrum of cultural-ethnic-racial identity to improve service delivery & mental health engagement outcomes for the wider community.
ACIT training is aimed at mental health & psychological practitioners, helping professionals, case workers & social care workers.

- Racial-cultural-ethnic & other intersectional identities
- Racial & generational trauma
- Afrikan-Centred principalities & spirituality in therapeutic practice

HOW YOU WILL LEARN
Our learning environments are inclusive and dynamic. You will learn via online interactive presentations, experiential learning, group discussion & more. Our classes incorporate various teaching styles with thoughtful learning objectives & creative activities.
